Yeah lots of amazing info and evidence for the use of Vitamins.
I use 5000ui of D, 2000 of C, 50 of Zinc, a multivitamin, Quercetin, and sometimes B complex.
Been fine all year.
Here is a recent and widely publicized study saying there is no benefit from Zinc and Vitamin C.
The Authors got funding from major drug companies.
But this is their claim.
There was no significant difference in the primary outcome of days required to reach a 50% reduction in symptoms among the 4 study groups. Patients who received usual care without supplementation achieved a 50% reduction in symptoms in a mean (SD) of 6.7 (4.4) days compared with a mean (SD) of 5.5 (3.7) days for patients receiving ascorbic acid, a mean (SD) of 5.9 (4.9) days for patients receiving zinc gluconate, and a mean (SD) of 5.5 (3.4) days for patients receiving both ascorbic acid and zinc gluconate supplementation"
So wait? Zinc and Vitamin C caused a full 1-day reduction in symptoms - but that is not significant? Out of 6 days total? that is almost a 20% reduction in length.
Plus - they never had the participants take Quercetin, which is necessary to get the zinc into your cells properly.
But another biased study is expected. Just take your vaccines!!
